Information
The educational package AgriSkills was created as part of a project sponsored by ERASMUS + KA 2 and was developed in a strategic partnership with (Projektkonsortium).
The educational package conforms to the demands defined by us for vocational education in sustainable development in the agricultural sector (see argumentation aid BBNE). At the same time, the educational package was designed so that it can be used in countries with different educational systems. It has been successfully implemented in practical tests in all three partner countries (Germany, Spain and Bulgaria) and is still being used and disseminated.
The educational package consists of five units:
- Trainer guidelines
- Educational Programme (Teaching Materials)
- Educational Software
- Supporting Arguments for Social Partners (.pdf)
- Practical Test Analysis (.pdf)
Each unit is described in a short introduction. The instructor's guide and the educational programme are closely coordinated with one another and are to be used together. The learning software can be used alone or as a supplement and to offer a break in the educational package. The argumentation aids present and offer insight into background and target bearings from the perspective of the author.
The analysis practical test contains the experiences and consequences drawn from and evaluated during implementation in Germany, Spain and Bulgaria.
In terms of contents, the educational package is organised into five modules building upon one another (5 class days):
- Introduction to Sustainability and Livestock Farming
- Sustainability and Animal Husbandry
- Sustainability and Animal Feed
- Marketing and Added Value
- Sustainable Agricultural Economics
The strategic partnership consists of three trade unions, three educational institutions, one chamber of agriculture and an (organic) farm with 1 to 3 professionals from each institution. The partner institutions are integrated into the educational programme in different fashions, either in the direct implementation of the educational package in schools and farms or in a different educational context at the regional, national or European level.

Educational Software
Similar to the educational programme, the software is organised into five submodules:
- Introduction to Sustainability and Livestock Farming
- Sustainability and Animal Husbandry
- Sustainability and Animal Feed
- Marketing and Added Value
- Sustainable Agricultural Economics
The agricultural relationships are presented in short dialogues between Lisa and Toni in the form of video clips. A number of task assignments link to the previous statements in the dialogues.
The tasks are accomplished by means of a variety of digital methods, such as "drag and drop" or "multiple choice". The solutions to the tasks are available to the user after reading a short explanatory text, for example, which opens when the cursor is moved over a particular term. A more in-depth examination of the subject can be found under the heading "Learn More...", which includes additional information such as topical texts, links, websites, definitions, legal texts, notes, etc. for all language versions.
The final submodule "Sustainable Agricultural Economics" ends with a catalogue of questions in which all three aspects of sustainability receive equal consideration. The results of the final test can be printed as a certificate which includes the user's name.
